Many of you will notice that I mention the Santa Rita Wine Room at Monty’s at the beginning and end of my podcast. What is it?

Monty’s of Kathmandu is a brilliant Nepalese restaurant in Temple Bar, Dublin. It is family owned and run by the husband and wife team of Lina and Shiva Gautum. Both are passionate with regards to authenticity and quality. The food is quite stunning.

Over the years Monty’s has also developed a reputation for the quality of its wine cellar. About a year ago Shiva developed this further and built a dedicated Wine Room at the back of the restaurant. It is sponsored by Ireland’s leading wine brand, Santa Rita. The wine collection in the Santa Rita Wine Room is impressive and we can all use it!
