The wines in question are made by the Bonfils family and cover quite a few appellations in the Languedoc Roussilon region of Southern France. This is 6th generation family vintners with 3 generations currently working the vines. They own 17 individual and extraordinary estates each of which is classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty or an environmentally protected site. Chateau Millegrande Minervois in €17.00. Mainly Syrah with Grenache Noir and Carignan. Big, Soft and Bold. Really excellent.

Chateau Saint Marthe AoP Languedoc €12.50. Oak aged Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre. On the slopes of an old volcano the site with pebbles, basalt and shells in its soils has a particularly favourable aspect. Also Domaine Saint Marthe €10.00 100% Syrah

Chateau Vaugelas AoP Languedoc. A bargain at €11.50 Grenache, Vermentino, Marsanne. Bright fruits, crisp and delicous. Outstanding Value.

Chateau Fourchou AoP Bordeaux Superieur €12.00. A Bordeaux with a superior softeness and rounded body. Dominantly Merlot with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
