The difference is that most of the wines on offer are premium labels unfamiliar to us from wineries that are very familar. They tells us that:

Based on the rather timely principle of ‘If you can’t visit the winery, we bring the winery to you’ wines available on the site include library stock, large format, and small production lines, as well as specially curated case offers from some of the top wines available from each producer. The selection from South America will feature the wines of Santa Rita Estates including some that will only be available to purchase on-line. The site also plans to run regular interactive on-line wine tastings hosted by winemakers, growers and cellarmasters with guest appearances and seasonal special offers.
There are thousands of fabulous wines that cannot find distribution into Ireland. It’s a feature of of our size and the sheer volume of available wines.
